Angie Anderson

Angie Anderson is a singer/songwriter from New Ulm, Minnesota. Her soulful, acoustic music evokes strong emotions and tells stories of love, heartbreak, joy, and hope. She has recently released her album, A Little Piece of Heaven, with the help of her friends and fellow musicians, and has also recently released two new singles, "Dragonfly" and "Weeping Willow". 

Since she was a young girl growing up on a farm in northern Iowa, music has been an important part of her life. She dabbled with songwriting in her earlier years but it wasn't until after the death of her teenage son to cancer that her songwriting really took off. Writing music became a way for her to process her grief and work through the emotions of that loss. Her passion for music and songwriting brought some joy back into her life. Since her songwriting comes from a place of grief and healing, those central themes have made their way into many of her songs. 

Angie performs her original songs with her cousin, Joy Ciaffoni, as The Cousins, in an acoustic folk duo with Kelly Coyle, and as a solo performer.
